Kobo’s own hardware is the reason this isn’t a re-labelled Kindle cover. Clara models are fully touch-driven with a single physical key on the back of the reader; Libra Colour and Libra 2 add real page-turn buttons, Kobo’s own SleepCover sleep/wake setting, and a wider 7″ body that sits differently in the hand. This cover is pattern-made for the Kobo shells above, to their published dimensions, and the flap works with SleepCover exactly as Kobo expects.
